Ernesto D. Medina, D.C., A.R.T.

Ernesto Medina, DC, received his BA in psychology from UC San Diego and went on to pursue a career in healthcare. He graduated as a doctor from Life Chiropractic College West in 2012 and has been part of the Vitality Health Services team since January of 2014.  Through the course of his studies, he has become certified in active release technique (ART), Graston Technique, Rock Tape fascial movement taping (FMT) and is a certified ergonomist through NetErgonomics.

Dr. Medina enjoys working with all types of people and athletes alike, but takes particular interest in working with grapplers. Being an avid Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner and crossfitter himself, Dr. Medina can relate and in most instances has even suffered from those same “not so common” injuries that can be very common on the mats or in the gym. When people push their bodies to new limits every time they train they can immediately tell when their finely tuned bodies are out of sync and need attention. They often experience the benefits of chiropractic instantaneously. But Chiropractic isn't only for athletes, Chiropractic care can help everyone giving the body the "tune up" it needs to deal with stresses of everyday life.

“The body, just like a car engine, needs maintenance after so many miles. Chiropractors are mechanics of the human body.”
